What does it actually mean to ignite your spark? I talk about it, I wear it, I speak it—it’s everywhere that I am. But what is it, really? If you’ve never attended one of my workshops or events, you might feel like you’re out of the loop. So, here’s your Spark 101 FREEBIE Crash Course. 😊

We all have a spark inside us—our God-given light that stays with us for life. Think of it like your internal compass. When it’s lit, life’s directions are clear. You know exactly where you’re going, and you’re moving forward with confidence, purpose, and energy. But when that light dims or fades completely? Suddenly, you’re stumbling through detours, hitting pit stops you didn’t plan, and wondering where on earth you’re supposed to go next. It’s like trying to navigate through the dark—and don’t even ask me to help find your way during a hike; I can’t even locate my car in the Wegmans parking lot. But helping you find your spark? Now that I can do.

Your spark is what lights you up from the inside out and gives you direction. You’ll feel it most when you’re doing things that align with your talents, strengths, and God-given gifts. It brings joy, confidence, hope, and all the good stuff that makes life feel just a little brighter.

So, how do you know if your spark is thriving or barely flickering? Easy: if you’re unsure, that’s your answer. It’s kind of like finding your soulmate or deciding which puppy you absolutely must adopt—it’s about that gut feeling. Want a quick crash course on finding or fueling your spark? Here’s where to start:

  1. What brings you joy?

  2. What have you always been naturally good at?

  3. Who makes you feel most like yourself?

Now dig deeper:

  1. Am I spending time doing the things that bring me joy?

  2. Do I use my God-given talents and skills daily?

  3. Do I prioritize time with people who make me feel like the best version of myself?

Answer these, and you’ll get a pretty good report on the health of your spark. But reigniting it is also about having a chat with God—and let’s be honest, talking to God doesn’t always feel like a quick back-and-forth convo. Sometimes, it’s like staring at those texting bubbles that never seem to go away. But stay open! God speaks in the people, moments, and even subtle whispers all around you.

Now, what does this have to do with Holy Week? EVERYTHING.

Holy Week may seem like an odd time to reignite your spark, but trust me, it’s perfect. Holy week is like hitting pause on the chaos of life and stepping into a week that's all about reflection, renewal, and connection. Think of it as pressing the reset button on your soul. Yep. There it is. It’s the reset button for your soul.

It starts with Palm Sunday—a celebration of hope and welcome. Then Holy Thursday rolls in, reminding us to serve others and love big, just like Jesus did. It's about that powerful moment when Jesus washed his disciples' feet and shared a meal with them. It's a call to live humbly and love generously.

Good Friday is solemn and reflective, the crucifixion of Jesus. but it’s also full of quiet hope, like the calm before a new beginning. But even in its heaviness, there's a sense of hope, like the calm before the dawn.

And Easter Sunday? Oh, it’s the grand finale—a burst of joy, renewal, and the ultimate proof that light always wins. It's the kind of day that feels like opening the windows after a long winter and letting in the fresh spring air. Ahhhhhh there it is!! THAT’S what I am talking about!!!

Holy Week is more than just a sequence of days; it's a journey. A chance to slow down, reflect on what's important, and step into a story that's been told for centuries but still resonates in deeply personal ways. It’s like a reset button for the soul. It’s a chance to rediscover your light, fan the flames, and reignite your purpose. God is calling you into something deeper, something brighter. He’s inviting you to step into the spark He gave you and be the amazing woman He created you to be.

So, is it time to reset your soul and reignite your spark? You’ve got this, my friend.

Let’s do it together!
